So a couple months ago two people was caught sleeping on the production floor.they were in my husbands department.they were fired one later than the other cause of favoritism. Now moving to now my husband and I go to a supermarket on days I don't want to make lunches and we been going less.we got called to hr for a talk individually cause here is the following:
we was celebrating cause they got fired
one was lazy so who cares
my husband was accused of drugging both of them to fall asleep on the production floor
I was talking about karma?
we were hanging in the parking lot talking about then with two other men.
My husband and I work at a place cameras are everywhere.we are also the type to go to work and go home we don't hang out anywhere especially with us living forty minutes away.also the town we work in has heavy police presences so you can't loiter after business close
And if was before work you literally got to be almost and hour early for a parking spot...in the gates parking lot with cameras.
The person who filed the complaint said they are a lawyer of the city we work in...heard us talk about these two men...heard me say I was upset one was fired more than the other and how karma for the other
And my husband was accused of saying the one who got fired and didn't like was a dirty catholic jew with n word hair...(he was a white guy with cornrows) and my husband was bragging that he drugged their food to make them fall asleep with two other men.
I told the hr people that never happened and yes we do shop there when I don't want to make lunches but we don't really talk to people.i tell him the time line of us arriving to work and us going home.then the hr guy was kept asking me who the other two men were and I repeated we don't talk to anyone and we in and out of the store and right to work.
He told me he doesn't know the time this person said it.
I was nervous cause I have anxiety and the hr guy brought up my nerves but I told him drugging people is illegal and i have a catholic background so my husband wouldn't say that.
For the hair....I did tell him the person had cornrows and he asked me if my husband complained about him and I said well yes but he told their supervisor and let her handle it since he doesn't get that pay.
I looked on my bank statements cause they told my husband in his meeting it was in two week period.we went to that store total of two times and one was when I had covid was starting to go down hill (didn't know I was full on sick yet but felt hot) and the other was this Monday.
My husband and I are seen together at work on breaks and lunch and yes I said I did admit to feeling sorry the one who lost his job lost his job cause he was an immigrant from Africa who literally can't go back or he die and the other was a rich boy who flaunt his money.but I said that in break room with others around,i followed up ive been a supervisor in the past so i understand the firing.. But we never hanged out with two other men in a parking lot.by the way the parking lot not even close to the work site
