I have an interview for my dream job, but I’m not sure if I’ll be able to handle the workload
I (20F) am finishing up my first year of tech school! I’ve been working at the same doggie daycare for the past 4 years and I’m ready to advance into the vet med field.
I applied and got an interview for my dream job. It’s at the local animal shelter which may sound silly saying it’s my dream job but it really is!
The only issue is that this is a full time position and I’ll have classes as well as an internship this summer. I’ve talked to one of my friends who is constantly busy and she said I shouldn’t do it, I’ll get overwhelmed. I’ve never had a full time job before, let alone doing an internship and summer classes on top of that.
I really want this job, but I’m afraid I’m setting myself up for failure by having so many responsibilities at once. If I get the job, I’d only have (maybe) one day off a week.
I need help lol
