Architect looking to transition?

Currently a UK Level 7 Apprentice on the verge of graduating their part 2 and finishing part 3 next August. I have no intention of staying in the industry due to dismal pay and conditions.

Like a lot of my peers I am looking to move contractor or developer side into a design/ construction management role. I would say my priority is completing less overtime and improving my compensation for working. Job satisfaction has now become a secondary concern for me.

I was wondering what people's thoughts were on things I could do to ease the transition and improve job prospects?

I have considered completing a Prince 2 course, what other supplemental courses could I do to make my CV more appealing?

I have considered completing a quantity surveyors masters degree after I complete my part 3. Is this something that is necessary or would benefit my career prospects?

Is there anyone reading who hires for this role that looks for certain things in my type of candidacy that I should be focusing on?

Thank you for any suggestions.
