Hey everyone,

I recently bought a 2014 Honda City, and the surprising part is that the car has only around 10,000 km on the odometer. The condition of the car is really good, and since I got such a low-mileage vehicle, I’m planning to keep it with me for another 6–7 years instead of upgrading to a new car anytime soon.

I’m still fairly new to driving, though I have around 1 year of driving experience, so I’m trying to make the car more comfortable, safer, and future-proof for long-term usage.

Right now, I’m mainly confused about upgrading the infotainment system and whether I should invest in a proper 360° camera setup.

I’ve been researching online, but there are too many brands and mixed opinions. Some people suggest Android systems, some say stick to branded systems only, and some say 360 cameras are unnecessary unless the car is large. Since I’m not very experienced with car accessories and electronics, I wanted genuine advice from people who actually know this space well.

Here are the things I wanted help with:

  • Which infotainment brands are genuinely reliable for long-term use?
  • Should I go for Android-based systems or something simpler and more stable?
  • Is a 360° camera actually worth it for a beginner driver like me?
  • Will installing a 360 setup affect the car in any negative way?
  • Are there any brands or setups I should completely avoid?
  • I also don’t want the car’s interior to look cheap or overly modified, so OEM-like suggestions would really help.
  • I’m looking for something practical, reliable, and smooth for daily usage rather than flashy features.

Would really appreciate recommendations from people who’ve upgraded older Honda City models or have experience with long-term ownership setups.

Thanks in advance!
