I currently am waiting to start a job within the NHS, it would be part time and 17.5 hours a week which isn't an issue for me. My current manager (outside of the nhs) is trying to convince the branch manager if she could keep me as staff so I don't have to leave as she is wanting me to stay to take a senior role. I don't mind doing both jobs.

Can you actually work two jobs in the NHS or does it vary by trust? I am aware I would have to let my new manager know if I will be staying at my current job, I just wanted to ask on the off chance that could do both.
