in pikmin 1, the SS Dolphin hits an astroid. but if it never crashed, it would have never known about the pikmin, and once olimar returns and they are in debt, well they wouldent know about pnf 404, so they would either go bankrupt or just find somwhere else, so pikmin 1 and two would never happen, 3 would happen because the kopaietties rediscovered pnf 404, so they would be outright the discoverer, and no pikmin 4 because olimar dosent crash and the rescue corps dont come and crash themselves. if it wasent for that one astroid, the entire pikmin series would have never happened. and the pikmin would go extinct because olimar was never there to uncover the onion, and its implied that pikmin where on the verge of extinction, so koppai would have been dead because the koppaities never had the help of the pikmin!
