Yesterday our garage door decides it’s no longer going to open. When I trigger it with the remote (or wall switch, it doesn’t matter) it sounds like it always does but then it only moves up an inch or two and then stops and goes back down.
I checked the two sensors on either side and they appear fine. Nothing is in the way nor did anything bang them or rest against them. It’s obvious they weren’t touched.
Everything else looks like it always has. Nothing unusual happened.
Again, this is totally out of the blue.
Any idea what this is?
