One extremely positive step taken up by Maharashtra FDA is to mandate restaurants to declare the use of analog/synthetic paneer and cheese. It may shoot up the prices of dishes in some restaurants who will be making a switch to the real paneer to save reputation.

Other states should take this as an example and mandate the same.

Did anyone already see this in real in last 2 days? i haven’t been to eat-outs lately so not sure of the ground reality.

The FDA also made the number available to raise complaint. Consumers who suspect deception may lodge complaints through the toll-free helpline: 1800-222-365.

Came across a post in TwoXIndia and thought of researching a bit before helping. Turns out that the post is from a man who is trying to impersonate as a woman to scam people financially. Took screenshot of his other post as a proof.
