Just got my LPa results back and it's at 158 mg. Wth! My ldl was at 155 and I was put on 20mg of rosuvastatin to deal with that. I have 3 different ct scans and an echocardiogram scheduled. I am only 44 yo and I am absolutely terrified. I feel like a ticking time bomb. And I can't talk to anyone about these results because it came back on a Saturday. Does anyone have any tips or stories that have some hope in them somewhere? I dont wanna sit in this fear

Just got my LPa test results back. It was at 158mg and I am absolutely terrified. I have 3 ct scans and an echocardiogram already scheduled. But I feel like a ticking time bomb. And it's genetic so there's no changing that. Can anybody give me advice on how to manage this? I won't be able to talk to anyone on the results until Monday.

I am so overwhelmed. Went into the cardiologist for diastolic hypertension. First visit and they already have an echocardiogram and CT scans ordered. All kinds of bloodwork. A statin and high bp meds. I've never had this many orders from one doctors visit before. I'm glad I caught all this before it ended up being an medical emergency.....but I kinda wanna scream right now. Can anybody relate?
