Whats happened and where we are going:

TV:

Good linear distribution on CBS, CW, USA

Free DTC option exciting but the rumor mill seems off there are going to be closer to 40 or 50 mens basketball games that don't make the linear cut. Most of our 16 non conference games will be at home. Also there's 50 home football games so 2 games don't fit the 48 games that keep getting repeated as our number. Will 2 games be on DTC or will someone like USA pick them up? There will be over 100 women's bball games though

Schedule:

Nice that we have general dates, but waiting on more specifics: Network, Kick Times. They touted early release. Let's see how soon this gets done.

Post-Season

Home field advantage in football. Smart choice. Rumor it's the MGM Garden arena in basketball. 16000 seat arena. That would be nice

Olympic Sports:

Frankenstein affiliate Sports in men's soccer and wrestling. Could be a couple more affiliate adds. I don't have a problem with this.

Expansion

Canzano has gone nuts about UCONN and generated a whole lot of chatter. Now he just says football only for 2027, maybe not UCONN. UCONN? Louisiana, somewhat geographical? R1 Ohio, they are rumored to be trying to leave the MAC? Rice in 2028, they have cash? Who knows. This move is anticipated by the most people of all moves the Pac 12 can make. I really don't like the flex schedule and would like to see them settle in on 9 or 10 schools for the duration of the media contract. There's a certain pickiness that we have.

Logo

The new logo is fine I think and has the same effect. The more I look at the new logo, the more it looks like the old and carries the same weight.
