Just wanted to share my experience so others know what they may be signing up for.

I’ve been an on-and-off US Mobile customer for around 4-5 years, and consistently for the last 2 years. Overall, I never had major issues, and in the past I was even able to get refunds when changing or canceling plans.

Recently, I prepaid for a 1-year annual plan. After about 2 months, I needed to switch to a different carrier. Since I had only used a small portion of the plan, I assumed I would receive a prorated refund for the remaining 10 months I hadn’t used.

Instead, I was told they would not refund the unused portion of the annual prepaid plan.

What makes this frustrating is that when I originally signed up, I was under the impression that refunds would be available if I canceled or changed plans. Based on past experiences, I had no reason to think otherwise.

So this post is just a heads-up for anyone considering an annual prepaid plan with US Mobile:

-Read the refund terms carefully

-Get any refund promises in writing

-Don’t assume past experiences still apply

-Think twice before locking into a yearly prepaid plan if your needs may change

Not trying to bash them, just sharing my experience so others don’t get surprised the way I did.
