Hello everyone, I graduate June 2026 with my ADN,in the Gardena/ socal area, I want to work as soon as possible, I have two questions if people would be inclined to help me. 1; I’m aware that the time from graduation to taking NCLEX, can be months longs due to having paperwork sent to the state to be processed and approved for me to take my NCLEX, is there any jobs I can apply to, to start working as soon as I graduate, like maybe as a nurse extern or PCT at SNF’s or LTC. 2; I’m aware that the job market for new grads is challenging to say the least, I’m applying to the “easier”, hospitals such as centinela, Gardena memorial, st.Francis. I’m not going to hold out hope bc I know how hard it is to find a job at the acute level right now so I’ll also be applying to SNF’s,LTC, basically any job that takes nurses in any capacity, my goal is to be hired and I’m not picky, I just want to work ASAP. My question is, do is apply to SNF’s and all non acute care now or after I graduate/get my license. Thank you in advance to everyone who answers/ people who take time to read this post, any advice is welcome.
