AP Psychology Exam questions (MCQ). I want my answers to be checked.

Were these some of the answers the vocab words

- somatosensory cortex

- phoneme

- critical period

- Shaping behavior (Was it shaping behavior for the superstition baseball socks or was it reinforcement)

- Random Assignment (This was for why this is not an experiment for some basketball player and it had a table)

- tend and befriend theory

- Social Learning Theory (this was for the son cooking the same as father. I forgot if it was this vocab word specifically)

- Confirmation Bias (This was for partner/relationship flaws)

Accepted to Michigan Engineering , Purdue Engineering, and NYU Engineering

This rant is very simple. I am a senior who actually put in the work, and worked hard for getting good grades, high test scores, and doing putting a ton of time into extracurriculars and volunteering. All that, all that work for those four years. All those AP classes. All that competitive soccer of going to florida, California, Arizona, Missouri, Kansas, etc. All that nights studied to ace my classes in AP CHEM and AP Calc, and other APs. All for what. All for my parents to say "naw you are not ready to go and live by yourself" "college is to expensive, we cant afford it" "go to the the college near us". All for some of my friends who even doubted me. I cant even decide what to do with my life. Everyone is like deciding what decision I should make and whats sad is that I honestly still need my parents even though they put me down the most. They don't even care about my accomplishments. Sadly, this upcoming 2026 fall, I will be attending neither of these 3 universities of my top choices for engineering. I don't have the financial independence and my parents know that to. All that for a low end state school where the kids who put zero effort into college will also be attending as well. Its almost like...all that effort was for nothing. I see kids going to various colleges of where they want to go, but I can't go anywhere that I want to go. I wish, I wish my family was rich and supported my endeavors but on that note, I am happy for those committing to places they enjoy.

EDIT: I probably should have included this in the post before but the low end state school that I got accepted to pretty much gave me a full ride in tuition however my parents are pressuring me into commuting from home. And I DONT WANT to go to that school at all let alone still stay with parents.

▲ 4 r/iqtest

Okay, I am by no means dumb. I am a junior and I scored a 1470 on the SAT (780 math and 690 rw) but at the same time I am by no means "smart". I took a mensa IQ test just to see hypothetically what I would score and I got a 131. Now, this is makes no sense. There is no possible way I am 2SD above the mean. These results are definitely fake. If i had to take a guess, my IQ is prob 105 and maximum being 110 just due to the nature of "regression towards the mean". I just joined these community after taking the test to see if somebody can tell me if this is legit or not. Also in order to make sure the results are significant, I would have to take it multiple times, find the mean, and calculate the standard error of mean to find out the SEM and the likely range. I feel like there is to much variation for these results to be accurate. In all fairness, I do remember taking a few IQ tests when i was a freshman for fun again and got like a 120 or something but they were not from mensa. Is mensa making our scores higher than they really are just to take their test? I don't know and I am not a statistician so I don't know how "significant" these results are or if they are just bogus.
