I have a one-way return flight with TAP since I'll be going to Ireland first before Portugal.
* OPO → LIS (07:00 departure)
* 1h 30m layover
* LIS → SFO (09:30 departure)
LIS arrival and SFO departure both showing as Terminal 1. I've done some research but I’m still not 100% sure how it will work so would appreciate help with these questions:
I will have two checked bags. Will they be checked all the way through to SFO?
Is 1.5 hours enough for this connection? I assume I’ll need to go through passport control since I'm leaving Portugal to the US but how does it work and usually how long does it take?
I've seen mentions of TAP staff helping passengers with tight connections move through faster. Is that something that would help with my connection?
What happens if I miss the connection? It looks like they only have one direct flight a day so am I SOL if I miss the flight?
