How would you handle this situation?
hey guys im a 22 y/o (F) my birthday isn't until next year, but i was interested in doing a solo trip for my birthday. I've experienced two countries already and invited friends and family, & it's like every single birthday i end up disappointed, it's like someone doesn't wanna take my pictures properly, someone has a attitude, i feel rushed, & I don't want to feel like that anymore. only thing is that me and my mother has the same birthday and for the last 2 birthdays we've traveled together, any other year we've went out to eat or something. and it's like I don't want to leave her out cause we do travel a lot together, but i genuinely don't wanna continue to feel down on my day every single year, i was interested in Saint Lucia & she asked me recently what are we doing for our birthday but I just brushed it off because i knew i was already planning this.
