Update BIOS or lose the right to play? Stupid idea

I log into the game and every time, it says bios needs a firmware update...NO other game ever asks this and its only COD (pc is brand new hardware and less than 1 year old). Why do they want us to fiddle with the BIOS? Their anti-cheat? Saying that if we dont do it we lose playlists and features is the stupidest fucking thing ever IMO.

Currently version is 6.31.0.6 kinda lost on what to do here? Everything on BIOS is currently set to what they require of us to do, so...yeah
