any fast way to change filament when spool runs out?

because the filament passes inside the tube where the sensor is, when it runs out, the filament is stuck in the tube and no way to remove without having to perform at least half a dozen extrude cycles on the printer, it would be good if it had a function to perform a filament swap where it lets you extrude enough to empty the length of filament in the tube. I have a K1 max for reference.

See the gaps here on the first layer, this is at the front of the print bed. Have included photos of the bed mesh for reference. One looks garbled and will look like the sloped one if I clear the data from the printer.

Can't say I have noticed any other issues and only picked this up after printing a large part.

I am about to replace the leveling board anyhow with the one creality sent me. Not sure if the sensors or board are to blame, but ive been sent both.

Is it likely the sensors will be faulty of the board itself? I guess I may as well replace everything creality sent?

Would be interested to hear from anyone who has had the same issues, see photo of the parts ive received.
