What do we think about Chase Koch’s Movement Musick?
https://www.kansas.com/news/business/biz-columns-blogs/carrie-rengers/article315472383.html
I guess he bought a bunch of real estate downtown and wants to renovate it for housing, entertainment, and community space. Sounds good on the surface, but smells a little like gentrification. I don’t live in Wichita anymore, but I used to play in bands and frequent the downtown area. It’s changed so much since I moved away in 2019. I’m especially curious to hear what artists and the actual people who live downtown are feeling about this.
Thoughts from anyone?
