Examples of games that does "combat" in a narrative way?
So in the VN that I been writing the script for, I am planning to add "combat" to it. The combat will mostly be narrative focus. Sort of like undertale or um..just very narrative focus that will depend on the battle. I am not sure if any other VN has ever done this and the only visual novel I can think of that does something like this that change the dyanmic of the text is Monster Girl Quest, NSFW game, as the main example and sort of an inspiration (despite my game being sfw,lol)
My game will not have stats or repeated battles since I want it to focus on a fun narrative experience and be sort of like a "choose your own adventure" sort of deal, so the gameplay will be done different with battles. I still gottta sort out the details.
I am just wondering if there were other examples, so I can check out.
