RTX 5070Ti OC & Undervolting
I've recently built a new rig consisting of an RTC 5070Ti and Ryzen 9850X3D.
I've fallen down a rabbit hole with undervolting and overclocking as I'm keen to unlock the maximum potential and performance, but I'm in completely new territory learning how to tinker.
I've overclocked the GPU Clock Boost by 375MHz and Memory by 900MHz, this seems to be the sweet spot for stability and gains. I'm observing approx 10% performance increase (FPS) under full load RT Ultra, the GPU sits around 3100-32500MHz and pulls approx 275-300 watts siting around 60-62c.
Steel Nomad score is around 7000 versus 6500 (stock).
I understand I may be able to undervolt, reducing the GPU Boost clock but at the gain of a lower power draw and reduced temps.
The CPU is also boosted by +200MHz using PBO and CO, similarly sits around 50-60c under max load during games.
In general, I feel my thermals are quite good - running relatively cool despite the OC.
Should I consider undervolting or is this mostly negated by the fact I'm running relatively low temps without it?
Any recommendations or feedback would be appreciated.
