Hey everyone,
I’m building something new (early-stage startup, still validating the idea), and I’ve hit a wall.
I managed to get 100 people to register their interest, which felt like a great signal at first. But here’s the problem: I’m getting almost zero feedback. No replies, no engagement, no real conversations.
Now I’m trying to figure out what that actually means.
Is it:
- People are mildly interested but not enough to care?
- My messaging isn’t clear?
- The idea sounds good on the surface but doesn’t solve a real problem?
What I’m planning to try next:
- Personally reaching out to each person (short, human message — not automated)
- Offering something small in return (early access, feature input, etc.) (maybe send emails to the guys already registered)?
Before I go all-in on this approach, I’d love some advice:
Has anyone else been in this situation where signups didn’t translate into feedback?
What actually worked for you to get real validation?
