Amber Noizumi says characters we thought dead in the first season will turn out to be alive
So I'll list the candidates I can think of from most likely to least.
- Mizu's mother
- Violet
- Mikio
- Takayoshi's lost bride
- Mizu's maid (mama)
- Seki
- Akemi's mother
- Ise (prostitute that had beef with Akemi that got pushed out a window in episode 7)
- Heiji Shindo
A lot of people think Mizu's mother is lady Itoh so obviously that could mean she's still alive.
The trailer for the second season has Mizu infiltrate a fortress, most likely to kill Violet. Violet is presumed dead but we have not seen how that went down so who knows.
In my opinion bringing back characters you killed on screen is kinda cheap. When they harvest the emotional impact characters dying they have to stick with their descision, so I hope neither Seki nor Mikio make a return
