Howdy, I'm a 27m who's looking for a seat at the table for a Shadowrun game on Sundays. I am in PST/PDT (UTC -8) time, but available most of the day on Sunday except for my late afternoons (7pm and later). I've got about 10 years of on and off TTRPG experience across multiple systems, but I'm still not fantastic at it.
Shadowrun is a system that I've yet to break into, but has long interested me. Both of my parents played 3rd and 4th Editions with their friends back in the day when I was young, and I always enjoy listening to my dad talk about his Decker characters he used to play. I've since taken possession of the 4E book they used as well as most of their dice, but I'm also open to playing 5th or 6th editions as well. My main group of players for 5e 2014 has been on hiatus for quite some time for various reasons. With no sign of that ending any time in the near future, I figure now is the time to branch out and try something new.
I am LGBTQ+ friendly, and open to most forms of content, dark or lighthearted, though I generally prefer if any sexual content is handled in a fade-to-black manner. I've always leaned a bit more of a combat/mechanics player than a roleplayer, but I'd still say I'm at least alright at roleplaying. Discord is my preferred avenue for VC, and I've used Roll20 plenty of times before, though I am not familiar with Foundry or other VTTs. I'm accustomed to sessions lasting 4-5 hours each, and I can usually stretch to 6 hours.
