Need help understanding Not Gates
I’m playing a game called “Electronics Puzzle Lab” right now to learn some basic electronics, and I’ve come across a conceptual question.
In the game c not gates invert whatever signal it is receiving. This makes sense.
The problem is, is that if there is no signal it will create a signal.
Is this how not gates work in real life?
It doesn’t make sense that a signal could appear out of nowhere, even if there is a not gate inverting it, because how can it invert what is not there?
Can someone explain please?
