I've shown bits and pieces of my Joe collection as I've grown it over the years, but, now I have entered "semi" retirement (i.e. I'll pretty much buy any CC that's not turning into a snake), this is more or less its final form. I've got three cabinets (including my previously shared Cobra Cabinet) and the Terror Drome's coffee table, and I suppose it'd be accurate to say a whole wall as well. I've dabbled in Classified from time to time, but the room just ain't there.

Anyway. I hope you all like the little mini monument to Joe (and Cobra) that I've managed to assemble.

It’s definitely come up before, but I spent an embarrassing amount of time thinking about it after randomly watching Dream Warriors this weekend.

When the dust settles and Freddy’s defeated, Kincaid is in the group therapy room with three dead bodies: Taryn, Will, and Nancy. Assuming there’s no Freddy Fuckery with the bodies, Nancy and Will have been stabbed. Technically, Freddy ripped out Will’s heart, which creates a whole new potential issue: does Will’s corpse have its chest ripped open with the heart torn out, or does he just have stab wounds? Or was there Freddy Fuckery and he just died of a heart attack?!

Then there’s Taryn, who ODed.

And Kincaid was the only one in the room. And the only one still alive. And he’s noted to have anger issues. And he’s the only Black guy in the room with three dead white people.

It kinda/sorta doesn’t look all that great for him.

Granted, there aren’t any weapons in the room, but that wouldn’t do much to stop him from getting the blame. Yet Kincaid is seemingly released and free of scrutiny in time to attend Nancy’s funeral.

Soooooo...

Springwood is Springwood, and they’re more than willing to sweep things under the rug and make problems go away. But it seems like putting everything on Kincaid and locking him up would be an easy way of doing that. They certainly had more on him than they did on Rod Lane.

Then again, this is the same hospital that was willing to say a girl committed suicide by jumping headfirst into a TV with enough force to crash through the screen.

I’ve seen some people suggest that Dr. Gordon may have helped him out, but how? Dr. Gordon was a disgraced ex-employee who wasn’t even allowed around the kids anymore.

As best I can figure, the two most likely scenarios are that the whole thing got pinned on Taryn being driven into a drug-fueled murderous rampage, or maybe it all got pinned on Nancy. She wasn’t allowed around the kids anymore precisely because her experimental drug use put one of them in a coma. So I guess it’s conceivable that they’d say, “Nancy gave drugs to Taryn, who went crazy and killed everyone but Kincaid.”

But what a shit way for Nancy to go out.

Anyway. Poor ol’ Kincaid. I bet Jason the Dog was an emotional support animal after all he went through at Westin Hills.

And then the dog winds up pissing fire, resurrecting Freddy, and getting Kincaid killed.

Poor ol’ Kincaid.
