Let’s suppose a Rajput belongs to the general category and is from Rajasthan, but does not come from a thikana family.

Is he still a real Rajput, or is he considered a gola or daroga type?

I was told that only Rajputs from thikana or jagir families are real Rajputs, and that non-thikana Rajputs are darogas.

It is very confusing. What is the truth?
