New Monkey Helmet

A bit frivolous but I had to have one. Matches my 2019 perfectly.Fits OK with large but really need an XL. High quality and the view is fantastic. The face cover flips all the way up and the quality is really nice. If you have a big head avoid these are Asian sized. Again snug with me but it’ll adjust I am sure.

First Pool How Am I Doing?

Always wanted a pool and finally got one in 2022 from someone who made it look nice in August for the house sale and after a disastrous closing finally in November they didn’t close the pool and had an entire falls worth of leaves in it.

When I opened it in April 2023 it took near a month to get all the leaves out and I found the top to the Pool cleaning robot they left which actually works perfectly. After running the Pool cleaner for hours and shocking it like crazy it never became clean because they previous owner never changed the sand over 10+ years so when I sucked it out not only was there far less than the required 300 pounds of sand, what was left was blue and smooth. After putting in 300 pounds my pool cleared up almost instantly.

I found an 80’s garage door opener thing which went to a color logic pool light that sort of worked but out in a new one to make it as bright as it is now. The pool also has two sprayers that fire a huge arc over the width of the pool and thank god the piping all works even has a statue that shoots water. The liner is new as well.

It’s a ton of work and thank god I work from home to keep a constant eye on it but the pollen is the worst I have ever seen. Both my skimmer baskets have socks on them and get fully caked within an hour or two of my pump running. The tree in the other side of the fence not belonging to me hangs over my pool to dump in long stringy seed things but thank god only in May. Have a 120000 BTU pool heater going in soon.

Im hooked I love taking care of it and cleaning it. It isn’t work to me it’s therapeutic. 27,000 gallons and has a 8 foot deep end.

One of my Favorite things to do is take a person who has never been in a fast car let alone a Super Car and show them what is possible at full bore. The Mclaren 600LT is especially dramatic with it's turbo lag then surge which really pins them in their seats and being foot down through the corners with the top down is an unmatched experience. This 600 LT has the Senna seats so they hold especially tight and you sit super low. I love them.

This gauge does everything. You can fine tune everything even the oil temp has three settings to accommodate for the piston heat or it takes an average of what it thinks it is. Has a multitude of settings for tire diameter, front and rear sprockets, and then fine tune with a percentage if you want your Speedometer to match a GPS.

Looks great I had to turn DOWN the brightness which is a plus as it is so easy to see. Three stage shift light I have mine starting at 8000, warning at 9000, and SHIFT!!! at 10,000. Bike also knows what gear I’m in somehow, records all max readings and is just Awesome to look at changes the quality of the experience entirely.

I highly recommend.

Previous mods were Intake, Yoshi Pipe full exhaust, TB Parts Cam. RUN DHM Tune for intake exhaust and cam, Pyramid Front fairing, MNTHBX rear shocks, battery tender, 60% clutch springs, stronger billet clutch holder thingy I forget what it is called, magnetic oil plug, and a quick release seat thingys.

I just added a new shifter, OPMID Multimeter Gauge cluster, a proper oil change cleaning out the spinner and the whole case all new gaskets, 14 Tooth Front sprocket, New Motobatt Hybrid battery.

The 14T front sprocket wakes the bike up and now you can cruise and do pulls in forth. Shifter is better but neutral remains a vague guess at best, the OPMID Gauge Cluster is a must buy. You can adjust EVERYTHING and fine tune voltage and temps and add shift lights and it somehow knows what gear I’m in it does well.

Fun ass bike love it.

We have a three day weekend at the Coliseum this weekend. Ferrari Roma, McLaren 600LT, Lamborghini Huracan Evo Spyser, and a Porsche GT4 RS Weissach Package. Lamborghini is always the crowd favorite.
