As a few of you are well aware, a few days ago the Helldiver group known as the "exo experts" rebelled against Super Earth to assist the hives. They gunned down SEAF troopers trying to destroy our homes and brought us large caches of intel and materiel to aid in the war effort. Overall, it's been a great time for everyone involved, but there's been one issue that I need to air out.
Part of the materiel we got was a set of armor plates. Originally, we planned to use them to assist in project 'Aggressive Alien Species Gamma', but then some hive guards asked if they could borrow them to use as armor and we gave it to them. We expected to see something effective, like what the spore burst strain did when they got the stim recipe. Instead, I'm looking at the place where we stored the armor plates and I'm noticing a distinct lack of armor plates. Worse still, you guys are asking for more. Well too bad! You guys managed to waste an entire hive's supply of those things within a day! Ya'll know the gloom can't grow these, right? Like, we could've figured out how to get the gloom to grow them, but now we can't because they're GONE! Do you guys know how many plans we had that involved figuring out how to make more of those armored plates? We were going to create our own recon vehicles so the scavengers no longer had to steal them in order to run over Helldivers, but now we can't; we were going to recreate those big bombs they use so the dragonroaches could drop them, but now we can't; we were going to build our own version of Super Earth's ships to invade and destroy their hive queen, but now we can't. What I want you guys to understand is that we could've made some real strides in the struggle against Super Earth if you just held off on wasting the armor.
Also, please do not try to say that the recent surge in Helldiver deaths was due to your new armor. We all know that it's due to the spore burst strain figuring out how to properly apply their stolen assets. All you guys did was make yourselves harder to kill against a specific type of enemy.
I'm sorry if this emotional outburst got a bit too heated. To see all that potential to end the Super Earth menace get wasted is just...thoraxbreaking.
