I’m curious if anyone else here has found ChatGPT helpful during their Wegovy journey?

I started using it already in the prep stage before my first 0.25 injection, and it has honestly been surprisingly useful. Not as a doctor, of course — I have my real doctor for medical decisions — but more like a very patient sparring partner.

It helps me evaluate my progress, think through meals when my appetite is low, come up with healthy snack ideas, remind me to focus on protein, fluids and fiber, and notice patterns without panicking over every little fluctuation.

It has also helped me prepare mentally: staying calm, realistic and motivated, especially around eating enough, avoiding constipation, and not falling into old all-or-nothing thinking.

After my first injection, I’ve used it almost like a daily logbook: weight, appetite, symptoms, food, water, bowel movements, energy, mood, small wins and worries. I find that having this kind of structured reflection makes me feel much less alone in the process.

Has anyone else used ChatGPT or another AI tool this way during Wegovy? Did it help you stay on track?

I’m starting my first Wegovy 0.25 mg injection on Monday, and I’ve decided to prepare myself a bit before beginning this exciting journey.

Over the past few days, I’ve been introducing more high-protein, fiber-rich, lower-fat meals and focusing on whole, simple foods. I also bought a nice-looking water bottle that now sits next to me at my desk – and suddenly it feels surprisingly easy to drink enough water each day.

Maybe it’s just enthusiasm and beginner’s euphoria, but I honestly feel much better already. My sugar cravings are gone, my mood is better, and I feel full on around 1,200 calories a day.

I’ve also decided that alcohol will be a no-go for me until I reach my weight loss goal of 44 lbs, with a goal weight of 128 lbs.

One thing I’m especially aware of is constipation, since I occasionally have diverticulitis flares. After speaking with my doctor, I’m already taking Magnesia every evening and trying to stay ahead of any stomach issues.

Did many of you prepare beforehand too, or did you just jump straight into the adventure?
