Preventing this to be in ocean overnight on high tide

Preventing this to be in ocean overnight on high tide

Just walking for 2 hours in your lovely Myrtle Beach coast picked up 2 bags of trash from the sand, and bring home to sort it to properly recycle.

Please save our planet!

I was in my backyard just recording a peaceful rainstorm, capturing the sound of the rain. My goats were about 40 feet to the right of where this happened. Then lightning struck the tree - and it didn’t just burn. It exploded from the inside. For a split second it honestly looked like a bomb went off. I served in Afghanistan years ago, and that sound was instantly familiar. That deep, sudden blast - not something you expect to hear in your own backyard. Still trying to process how fast it all happened.

Has anyone else experienced something like this?

On weekends I was picking up plastic on the beach, small pieces, broken stuff, the kind you barely notice.

Later that same day I was in a store and came across outdoor furniture made from recycled plastic.

It really hit me seeing both in one day. On one side it’s pollution breaking down into micro pieces, on the other side it’s being turned into something useful again.

Glad to see at least some of it is getting a second life.
