Revived Dracaena

Pic 1 - 1st March, pic 2 - today. I bought a dracaena off Gumtree and I moved into a huge pot of soil with no drainage. After a year of either heavy watering or none at all, it was very stressed and dying a slow death. I’m very proud of the revival I’ve managed to bring it back to life. I transferred to a smaller pot with drainage which now sits in the large decorative pot. I mixed perlite with new soil and I now water once weekly, removing inner pot and then placing outside to allow for full drainage of watering. Since 1st March it has grown 27 NEW LEAVES!!!! Absolutely buzzzing. Still a work in progress but ecstatic to get it producing loads of new leaves and life

Wisteria in Kentish Town

This beautiful wisteria in Kentish Town has been my indicator that summer is finally on its way for 15 years. Love seeing it suddenly explode with purple colour every year
