Saw a few more — once a day, same smaller size not new born but not adult.

Nothing in new traps for a week or so. Nothing under my fridge and under kitchen sink traps for a year prior.

Let landlord know..

He came by today to “inspect” every unit. Aka ask if we’ve seen anything, and quickly shine a flashlight between oven and wall space. — everyone denied, of course.

He said if I see multiple a day to call him.

Would seeing one a day for a few days, after 5 years of nothing, and empty traps still count as SS? Or is that a sign of early infestation?

Fridge and oven have been moved fully and they’re clear, traps clear. But saw one a day for 3 days — especially after deep cleaning and sealing everywhere.

Posted a week ago that I thought I saw a German nymph but wasn’t sure (or older nymph?? Was way smaller than adult, but not super super tiny).. anyways. I DEFINITELY saw one again in the bathroom today when I turned the lights on in the AM. Same one? Idk, who knows. I killed that MF with toilet paper, examined it well, and flushed it. 100% was a German.

We’ve lived here for 5 years with no signs of anything. I have had sticky baited traps in the kitchen for like a year cause I suspected a neighbor has them for awhile now, and never caught anything.

Last week thinking I saw one… I set up so many more baited traps, including bathroom and new/more in kitchen, did a full apartment inspection day and night— in cupboards, under sink, behind oven and fridge, etc etc. no signs of anything like droppings, casing, etc. nothing yet in traps again this week. No other sightings ever/yet.

I’m planning to caulk the cracks under the sinks by the pipes tonight. What else can I do in Canada? I informed landlord but haven’t gotten a response yet.

What are the chances it/they were a traveller from another unit? Vs. infestation in my unit? & when a neighbour has them in an apartment building - is it basically inevitable you’ll get an infestation, too? We have cement walls, and baseboard heaters.
