After a year of healthy eating and consistent exercise without much change to my body, I have decided to try Mounjaro. I have always had a difficult relationship with food. This year has been a win for me, it's been really tough to stick to healthy eating and exercise and whilst I am proud of myself, it's disheartening to still be overweight and lack SO much confidence and self worth because of it. I just wanna be able to wear fkin jeans and a vest and not have the self-consciousness consume me!! So here we are!!!
It's very early days but wow, it's empowering to feel in control of what I eat. It's made me realise how much time and energy I have spent constantly thinking about food. Burping a bit on the first few days but other than that no side effects!
To start, my goal is to lose 15kg and then we'll go from there.
Would love to hear other people's stories and if the food noise stays gone with the higher doses? I'm doing 4 weeks 2.5 and then going up to 5mg for month 2 unless anything changes.
