I’m a first-year law student trying to get an early start in the legal field, but I’m not hearing back from anyone. I’ve applied to a bunch of roles and even tried cold emailing firms, but nothing seems to be working.

Is this normal for 1Ls, or am I doing something wrong? Any advice on how to actually land that first opportunity would help.
