I see a lot of ppl say how horrible people were when or while they were homeless. and my experience was powerful. now there were few people who were rude and disrespectful but ya know that humans sometime. Ive meet so many genuine people while dealing with homelessness . I talked with so many people. ppl living harder than I was.. still laughin, still smiling, and showing kindness and respect. I miss the people I would encounter everyday as we struggle to make it. random characters and even more random conversation. As a grown man I’ve been brought to tears multiple by some of the kindness shown to me from the homeless community itself. I’m grateful.
