I’ve been wanting to get into creative writing, but I think it would help a lot if I had some kind of outline or template to organize my ideas. Right now my thoughts are all over the place, and I’m not really sure how to structure everything.

The problem is, I don’t know what format works best or where to find good templates for things like plot ideas, characters, worldbuilding, chapter planning, etc. So I figured I’d ask here.

Does anyone have any templates, examples, or advice that helped you when you first started writing?

I’m looking for something that helps with organizing things like:

-plot structure

-characters

-worldbuilding

-timeline/order of events

-themes or important moments

Its going to be more of a fantasy short story

I was wondering if there was any templates, or methods you’d recommend for organizing a story before writing it? Even screenshots/examples of your process would help a lot.
