Hello everybody. I’m looking at purchasing my first Acura. I’m just looking at the base MDX. The dealer quoted me $1299 for interior/exterior protection - is this even worth it? Probably not, but tell me if you’ve gotten it.

Obviously I wouldn’t pay MSRP. I would imagine their more premium models are higher profit for them so maybe larger discounts? But since I’m looking at just the base model, would 5% off MSRP be feasible? Or not aggressive enough?

I’m happy with the baseline features, but it seems like the tech package is popular. I drive an older vehicle right now so it’s possible I just don’t know what I’m missing. Tell me, are there tech features that you just love and I need to consider??
