Hey, I have been an on and off user of the light phone II for 3 years now. My other phone is an Iphone.
I have had problems with messages in the past, but it was only ever with group messages. I switched back to light about a month ago, and now i can only recieve messages if they send them as sms. some phones do that automatically, but alot of people just see the message as undelivered unless they manually select "send as an sms". Not many people know how to do that unless i tell them personally, but I am sure there are people who are messaging me and i don't even know! I can't tell them what to do if they don't already know.
I have disabled RCS and Imessage completely on my iphone, as well as MMS to be safe. Hopefully this works, but I am just confused. Why is this happening all of a sudden? RCS has been around since before i got my light phone, and I have not switched carriers (T-Mobile). So why are my messages being weird all of a sudden when they never did that with my light phone for the last 2 years of me owning it? the only thing that has changed is I have a different I-Phone, but that doesnt really make any sense to be the problem.
