Neighbour starting a dog training business
We live in the open countryside on a large plot of land. It’s lovely and very, very quiet. We’ve chosen this deliberately for peace and quiet.
We have a new neighbour. They’ve been building a large fenced paddock adjacent to our land and now we’ve just received a planning application for her to run a dog training business.
I’ve been hearing dogs, so I know she’s already started. So the whole thing is set up.
This Saturday afternoon we heard dogs barking non stop and people shouting and laughing and cheering.
I’ve a feeling that this is going to become a regular weekend event even though she says on the planning that it’s only going to be 5 or 6 classes a week. Most people are only free to do this kind of thing at weekends.
I personally hate the sound of dogs barking more than anything else and I am really upset about this.
Do I object to the planning? She could easily move the paddock to the other end of her garden away from us but it’s already built. It’s going to be a proper noise nuisance.
