So I plan to put 303 fabric protectent on my soft top but the drying part is really troublesome as I can't drive my car for half a day after washing it so I have to plan my washing time.

Could I just wash my car, drive it out in the sun for 1-2 hours and let the soft top dry and then place 303?

My worry is that in that short drive, the soft top would be contaminated.
