came back to League recently and have been otping TF. I struggle with keeping a decent CS/min, especially in matchups against heavy-waveclear control mages (for me especially bad against Viktor)
I usually shove the first two waves and let the third reset. After that, I either base for Dark Seal + potion, or I greed for Catalyst. (I mostly go RoA, but I'll run Gunblade when I take Electrocute).
My biggest issue (Roaming vs. Farming):
I'm constantly looking for ult opportunities, but a good angle rarely lines up perfectly with me having the wave shoved in. Sometimes the enemy bot pushes very aggressively and I prioritize the ultimate to punish them. The gank might work out, but it usually results in me losing 1-2 full waves mid and a big chunk of my tower health to the enemy mage.
How do you guys balance roaming with maintaining CS and keeping your tower alive, especially when the timing isn't perfect?
