YAY BURN
I know Burn is a corporation and a cult and a moneymaker and run by bros and whatever else AND I am STILL compelled to post my gratitude for whatever spirit guide or ancestor or athiest coincidence fairy directed me to it.
20 years from now I'll look back and say that I was actually young at this time. But 20 years ago I thought this age was really old and it kinda is. 58. I'm so old that in my elementary school, it was normal to have kids pick teams. The gym teacher would select two athletic kids as captains and they would take turns picking from the rest of us, until there were just two of us left: me and one other girl. Sometimes I would be last, sometimes she would be last. The days that she was last were really good days.
I bump into poles when I walk. I still tie my shoes the baby way, "bunny ears" or whatever it's called. Whoever gave me muscles gave me half-servings.
But!! omg. I've been doing burn for over a year. And I can FEEL these half-portion muscles now. I can JUMP ROPE. wtf? who even am i now? Anyway, yeah. I really like Burn.
