I made this with a 1.25 mm crochet hook and size 20 cotton thread. The pattern is by daria dubchak(she has more very detailed themed patterns).
I plan to frame it next to my musical owl figurines or maybe make it into a mandala.
I made some mistakes but nonetheless I love it.
Using that small of a hook is a pain for the wrists but the pattern was so fun I was finding it hard to put it down. Though it was definitely one of the harder things I have made

Since it is my first doily I would very much appreciate tips on how to preserve it, I always see those decades old doilies and would love to have something like that
