Hi all

I just got an RX-DT75 in really great condition and with the remote, but there’s a very unpleasant buzzing distortion in the bass frequencies so I think the foam has rotted on the woofers.

I really like the machine and if I can fix it or get it fixed I want do that. Based on some Internet research it seems like there is no easy way to refoam the woofers, though some people have replaced them with modern speakers of the same size e.g. Monacor SP 45/4 which apparently fit, but have screw holes in the wrong place.

Does anyone have any experience of this?
