So I feel like it’s pretty common knowledge at this point that TPTB reach out and contact certain girls they are interested in and would like to see try out for the team.

My question is this- let’s say they reach out to 25 girls (that might be really high? That might be really low? I’m honestly not sure) but there are only 5 spots on the team why even bother trying out if they didn’t ask for you? I feel like the chances of making it are slim to none when there are already more “hand picked” girls than just a random.

I know someone can always be a surprise but I just feel like unless they ask to see you at this point with such few girls leaving each year vs number trying out it’s kind of a waste of time.
