Wax or not to wax

Wax or not to wax

Hey guys, I'm pretty sure, this gonna be hot discussion.

First of all, I always have been using MucOff C3 det and wet lubes on my chains.

Now when I switched from mtb to gravel I decided to give a chance chain waxing products so today I got my new shimano 12s chain, cleaned it with solvent 646, let it dry for 2 hours, then melted UFO ultra endurance wax, put it in, let it warm up, so binding process can accoure. Now I got two chains - one is cleaned and coated with wurth Teflon dry wax spray and other is coated with UFO wax.

I think it's reasonable to have two chains, so if one is dirty you just put on clean/prepared one and you are ready to go, afterwards you can clean dirty chain and prepare it for next swap.

As shimano chain quick links are not made for using those for many times, it's good idea to buy some extra links, so you got those in your bike pack of toolbox.

So what do you think - wax is good or no?

I believe that someone has allready shaped opinion according to his experience.

Thanks in advance!

Hello Cube gravel maniacs.

I have a question about Tyres - on my Nuroad Race I have Schwalbe G-One R, Kevlar, TLR, 45-622 and question is, if I would change these tyres to 50mm instead of 45mm would I feel difference?

Other question is - if I go to tubeless and reduce pressure so I got bit more comfort should I use cushion liners to prevent rim damage?

And Pleae - be patient - I'm newby in gravel. 🙏🚴

My new Cube Nuroad Race Cappuccino and black arrived and I just finished with frame protection installation (black forest) from Unleashed.

After frame protection installation tested bike and it is amazing.

Love it.
