How would we all feel about a Doors and Pressure inspired game, but vertical?

I wanted to post this on the DOORs subreddit given the "situation" on this fandom which was also inspired by DOORs right now, but I'm new on Reddit and can't do that given the requirements, so here we go on this subreddit as an alternative, but also somewhat keeping Pressure out of the picture given the controversy.

Most DOORs fan games, inspired games, and everything in-between all involve going horizontal, room by room, but I've never seen any games on Roblox that are inspired by Doors... but transformed it a huge ton. I've looked at Dante's Inferno (and the lore of Pressure) and that's when I got the idea; a vertical Doors inspired game.

Instead of going horizontally, room to room, it's instead descending vertically and the rooms system that Doors uses are replaced with what are called "chunks" which all vary in Y stud height, and when the player(s) are about to reach the end of a chunk, the next one generates automatically, and once the player has descended far enough, say, 5000 studs, the final room/chunk is generated with the showdown or something like that that Doors does. Chunks are the same as the rooms, except chunks tend to be more larger, making exploration feel vast and massive.

Fall damage is gonna be likely, and descending might be more dangerous than traversing horizantally, so I added a unique health system which is the same system that EarthBound's HP odometer. Took fatal damage? Heal quick enough then you don't die.

Given it's not horizontal exploration, the crouch system DOORs uses is replaced with sprinting, and jumping is also now a thing.

The monsters? Two types actually: The first one is the main ones, like those that are like Rush, Ambush, etc., and the second ones are like habitat mobs. Some habitat mobs are not harmful, some neutral, and some aggressive to players.

I also got an idea inspiration from Paper Mario and Henry Stickmin's Fleeing the Complex where if a player presses the jump button the moment they are about to hit the ground, they receive a real time status effect that makes them invincible for a second, essentially nullifying any damage from the fall; still tinkering with the idea so no one can abuse it.

This concept is just an idea and no action has been taken to bring it to life yet.

Anything to say about this? Speak up with the comments.
