Important items to have/buy at first home?
I am moving out of my family home in a month (June 30th) and for the life of me I cannot think of important things I’ll need when I move into my new house. I’ve always lived with my parents and when my then-boyfriend now-fiancé and I found out we were expecting our daughter 2 years ago, my parents wanted us to stay with them until we were more secure. We are now moving out after securing our “grown up jobs” and all I can think of buying is toilet paper lol. We already have most furniture for our bedroom and our daughter’s room since we have our own rooms at my parents, but what are items that are essential when first moving in? Everyone keeps telling me to not rush buying “everything” but I know we’ll need at least some stuff when we move in right? I know this sounds kind of dumb and I apologize for that. I think it’s a mix of my nerves of not living with my parents there as a safety net for the first time that’s making my brain cluttered. Thanks in advance Reddit folk.
