i am planning to enroll in one of the EMT certification classes in my city and am well aware of the physically demanding labor that comes with the field. as a result, i want to get ahead on building the muscles/strength that would help me be more useful! however, i have very little gym experience outside of the standard treadmill/stairmaster/weighted squats combo.
does anyone have any recommended work-outs or just muscles to target in general that could help with this? if it matters at all, im a woman and about 145lbs!
