As of today, the petition regarding school hair regulations and student identity has officially surpassed 4,200 verified signatures. I have been in direct communication with yvl zeo (known on Reddit as u/kataaannaaaaa), the person who started the petition, to provide a verified update on the next phase of this movement.

The Current Status:

• Direct from the Founder: yvl zeo has confirmed that the petition has successfully reached the Ministry of Education. It is no longer just a digital goal; it is a formal grievance being discussed by the authorities.
• The Motive: Speaking on why they started this, yvl zeo highlighted a national "breaking point." Students and parents are increasingly vocal about the impact of strict regulations on self-esteem and the prevalence of bullying.
• A National Conversation: What started as a single petition has turned into a widespread protest, fueled by the community's refusal to stay silent.

Some students are being sent home or missing education because of hairstyle rules

The main argument is simple:
Hair doesn’t affect learning, but strict enforcement like this can affect confidence, identity, and access to education
